ProCredit Bank presents a summary of its 2015 results and its future plans

ProCredit Bank held a press conference on 1 March at which it presented its results for 2015 and its future strategy.

Summary of 2015

At the beginning of 2015, ProCredit Bank made it a priority to solely develop the small and medium business segments. Its withdrawal from the micro segment was announced in the first half of the year as part of the bank’s strategy. With regard to customer service, ProCredit placed special emphasis on the development and improvement of remote services. At all branches, 24/7 Zones (self-service areas) were introduced at which clients can conduct all basic banking operations around the clock using the most modern banking equipment.

In 2015, ProCredit Bank was involved in many interesting and innovative projects with the aim of improving the banking experience of its loyal customers. ProCredit Bank was the first financial institution to introduce cash-in ATMs, which make it possible to not only withdraw cash, but also make cash deposits. Furthermore, ProCredit Bank introduced the Drop-Box, a modern machine at which business clients can deposit large amounts of money into their current accounts within 24 hours. Last year, the bank invested over GEL 4 millionin its facilities in order to provide its clients with the most modern banking equipment.

ProCredit Bank also actively participated in social activities. It organised a number of art exhibitions and sales to provide funding for people with disabilities and their families.

ProCredit Bank ended the year 2015 with the following figures:

  • Customer funds: GEL 669 million
  • Credit portfolio: GEL 921 million
  • Net profit for 2015 (under IFRS standards): GEL 29 million

Overall, 2015 was another successful year for ProCredit Bank. Our goal is to continue to provide reliable and socially responsible banking services to small- and medium-sized enterprises and individuals.

Plans for 2016

ProCredit Bank aims to become the “house bank” for its business and private clients and long-term cooperation continues to be one of its key objectives.

In 2016, ProCredit Bank will continue to introduce innovative projects for its current and potential clients. Emphasis this year will be placed on the development of 24/7 Zones.

ProCredit Bank will continue to intensively invest in its staff training. In addition to professional training, English courses locally and abroad at ProCredit academies are of great importance. The bank will continue to offer special courses for its middle managers.
