ProCredit Bank has won the Corporate Sustainability Award 2024!
The bank received the award for its successful practice in promoting green investments, in the SDG-17 – Partnership for Sustainable Development Goals.
ProCredit has now participated in the competition for the second year and we are grateful to have our work acknowledged once again. In 2023, ProCredit won the Corporate Sustainability Award in the SDG-7 – Affordable and Clean Energy category for its project focused on developing an electric vehicle fleet and charging infrastructure.
The initiatives implemented by this European bank in Georgia generate measurable benefits for both the environment and society, and they strengthen the field of corporate sustainability.
"Social responsibility is an integral part of ProCredit Bank’s business operations. Through new initiatives and by sharing the best European practices, we strive to create a positive impact on the economy, the environment, and society. The award we received is a worthy recognition of the positive changes we have achieved. Moreover, it motivates our team to actively continue supporting sustainable development goals with new projects and to further establish the role of an impact-driven financial institution."
— Alexander Jashishvili, Head of the Sustainable Development Department
The Corporate Sustainability Award ceremony was organized by the UN Global Compact Georgia Network, with funding from Sweden, as part of the "Leadership for Sustainable Development" project. The nominations were selected based on the Sustainable Development Goals adopted by the UN in 2015.
